After hours emergency service for small animals is provided by the Animal Emergency Center in Watsontown.

Dr. Hocker was born and raised in the Montoursville Area.
He grew up on his family's farm outside of Montoursville, and graduated from Montoursville High School.
After graduating from Penn State University in Animal Science, he went on to get his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
He practiced large and small animal care in Wayne County, Pennsylvania for five years prior to opening the Montoursville Veterinary Hospital in 1991.
He has been a member of the Montoursville Rotary Club since 1996, and was President of this Rotary club twice.
