We provide pet owners an opportunity to say goodbye to a beloved companion in the most comfortable setting possible for both the animal and the owner. Our goal is to make your final memories with your pet dignified, peaceful, and as private as possible. Please contact us today if you have questions or if you want to know whether in-home euthanasia is the right choice for your pet.
The journey through end-of-life care is the most difficult part of pet ownership for many families. An in-home euthanasia option allows families to say goodbye to their pets with privacy, dignity and peace. Most families find in-home euthanasia less stressful than a traditional clinical setting. If an owner has decided it is time to euthanize a pet, we can help you make an appointment for this procedure to be done at your home.
You are welcome to contact us via phone, email or text to schedule an appointment. Once an appointment has been scheduled, our veterinarians come to your home and help your pet pass peacefully.

Services
Owners elect in-home euthanasia for a number of reasons.
Euthanizing a pet at home is generally less stressful for both the pet and the family.
The setting of home is usually more comforting for the pet, travel for some pets can by physically painful or psychologically stressful for them, often a home euthanasia appointment allows additional family members to be present.
If desired by the family members, children and other pets may be present during a home euthanasia appointment.
If children are present during the appointment, we will make every effort to explain the process to them in age appropriate, non-religious based terms.

How do I know when it is time?
The decision to euthanize a pet may be based on may factors.
Often times debilitated pets require more care than owners can accommodate.
Large dogs may be losing mobility, pets may not be able to manage urinating/defecating in appropriate areas, or a pet can have a disease process that owners elect to not treat for financial reasons.
Some pets are extremely aggressive or have behavior issues that are making them no longer suitable companions for owners.
All of these are valid reasons to elect to euthanize a pet.

Dr. Summers / Dr Pate were everything you'd want in a vet, in this situation, or any.
We had our 15 year old pot bellied pig that could no longer move around, that needed to be euthanized.
They were compassionate understanding, professional and I'd have to say very reasonably priced.
I felt for everything that she provided us her pricing was exceptional.
On a sad day, she helped my sons, wife and I feel we did the best thing for our pet pig w the best VET.
I set everything up with Dr. Summer and the actual service was provided by Dr. Pate.
