Meisels Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care at the beginning stages of your pet's life, early detection and treatment of diseases as your pet ages, and medical and surgical care as necessary during your pet's lifetime.

At Meisels Animal Hospital, we understand the special role your pet plays in your family, and we will treat your pet as we would our own. Meisels Animal Hospital was established in 1946 by its founder Dr. Morton Meisels and grew from a clinic in a small house on the first floor to a 4,000 square foot facility.

Douglas L. Moldoff received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois in 1973.
He joined the staff of Meisels Animal Hospital in the summer of 1973 working for its founder Dr. Morton Meisels along with two other associates.
In addition to caring for dogs and cats Dr. Goldstein is skilled in the care of pocket pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.
On top of performing his duties at Meisels Animal Hospital, Dr Goldstein has been a member of the National Veterinary Response Force for over 12 years.
