Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic in Aberdeen, WA was founded in 1929 by Dr. Roy Clarke, a celebrated World War One veteran.
During his 43 year tenure here he won awards for cutting edge veterinary clinic design, helped the team of scientists who discovered the cause and cure for salmon disease, and translated a book on care and training of German Shepherd dogs which has gone through many editions and remains to this day the world standard for their care.
On Dr. Clarke's retirement the clinic was bought by Dr. Robert Fuller, who was here for twenty years.

The teeth and gums of each pet are also checked, with recommendations for scheduling dental cleanings if needed.
