At Clanton Animal Hospital, our commitment to your pet's ongoing health and well-being is our number one priority. We strive to provide the most advanced medical care, advocate for the patients who cannot speak for themselves, and educate pet parents on care for the complete life cycle of their pet. You can trust us to provide honest and down-to-earth care, treating each pet as if they were our own, providing owners with direct, yet compassionate choices for your pets healthcare.

Your pet has undergone a complete reconstruction of her left Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). This was accomplished by grafting a portion of the patella tendon in place of the ACL, transposing the biceps femoris insertion, and implanting a nylon stay suture to support the knee while the graft is healing. It is imperative that your pet's activity be severely limited during the healing process.

While the disaster itself may be unavoidable and the damages unpredictable, thinking about the unthinkable can save a life and give you reassurance in a scary situation.
